"My Sister's Keeper"

Alexi and I went to see "My sister's keeper". I have to start by saying we both read the book and understood that we might not like the movie. The movie was good, but nothing like the book. They left out lots of parts and they total changed the ending. I think the ending I was most disappointed about.

If you haven't read the book I would recommend the movie and then read the book. If you have read the book don't waste your money, maybe wait until it comes out in DVD.

Just my feelings on it.

Josh U.S. Marine!!

I am so very proud of my nephew Josh. He graduated last week from the marine core. Now he goes on for his additional training. He has done very well and seems to really like it. I am so very proud of him I could burst.

My Dad

My dad has been battling Lung cancer for the last 7 years. I have just found out recently that the cancer has moved to his bones and glands. Carol & I are going to see him on the 29th of this month. It will be moving fast now and I want to see him while he still knows who I am. I am so done with bad news. I really don't want to do this right now. Wish me luck and keep me in your prayers. I need lots of strength right now.

Mexico trip

I didn't take very many pictures this weekend. I just enjoyed the time with family and good friends, We do this trip every year with the Graykowski's.

Lake Mead Part 1

We had a great time at Lake Mead. It was a much needed weekend away. Brownie & Shirley are so easy to be around. Thanks for making it such a great weekend guys! Here are a few photos of our trip.

Time Flies!!

I can't believe it has been so long since I have posted. I will try to post some pictures later today. Don't give up on me yet I will be back soon.

Update!!!

This has been a very sad and busy last few days. I am having a very hard to time shaking this awful feeling. I am so sad and upset over the loss of my friend.

They had a celebration of life for Teri on Saturday followed by some food at the church. It was a beautiful service. After that we went to the Libbrecht home and ate, drank and celebrated Teri's life there with family and friends.

I am at work Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday. We are leaving for the river tomorrow with some friends. I am hoping it is going to be a nice weekend.

Next week will be crazy too. We work Monday & Tuesday and then off to Mexico for the 4th of July.

Tragic Loss!!

I have had a tragic loss in my family. My friend died on Thursday. She got sick and went into the hospital on Monday with a very bad infection. They couldn't do anything for her. She loss the battle early Thursday morning. She was only 58 years old. She leaves behind a Husband . A 25 year old daughter, A 27 year old son and future daughter in law ( my daughter Alexi). And a very large immediate family. This is a great loss to our family.

The whole world is crying today!! Please keep this family in your prayers they are going to need the help in the coming weeks and months.
