Update!

The prayers are working. Bob Senior made it through his procedure today and it went very well. He will have Heart Surgery first thing in the morning. Please keep him in your thoughts and prayers.

Prayers Needed!!

I am sorry I haven't been blogging the last few days. I am still trying to get caught up from being gone.

I need some prayers though. A very good friend needs some prayers for her Father In Law. He had a heart attack on Saturday and will have to have Heart surgery this Tuesday. He is in very bad shape and could use some extra prayers. He is a great guy and we are just praying he makes it through this surgery.

I am Home!!

There is no place like home. I had a great trip and I would do it all over again in a second to be able to spend time with my Mom, Jackie and my sisters and their families. But it sure is nice to be home. I love my life and the world that I live in.

No major drama while I was gone. I even got to see Zach last night for a few minutes. I am working the next two days so I still won't be able to blog much. I will get on it on Friday. I took 71 photos. They all turned out great.

Travel Day!

Today I am traveling home. I will leave Mom's house at 4:30 A.M. to start my journey. I will be off the computer for a few days because I will need to go to work the rest of the week to catch up from the time I have been gone. It has been a great trip and I can't for next year.

Back from SDV!!

I slept like a rock last night. It will take a few days for me to get up to speed. I leave first thing in the morning for California. Here is a recap from the weekend:

We left on Thursday around 11:00. Stopped by to pick up Amanda Sue and off to Wendy's for lunch where we met the other girls. Loaded the car and we were off to our first field trip A.C. Moore for some shopping. We arrive at SDV at 4:00 and unloaded. Then we were off to "The Melting Pot". After we ate we went to the hotel. We were able to bring our scrap things to the crop room at 9:00 P.M. to get set up. I think we got to bed around Midnight.

Friday we were up early for breakfast. We could get into the crop room at 9:00. We scrapped all day and all night. I think we got to bed at 3:00 A.M. after we had laughed for an hour.

Saturday was some more of the same. We got Reflexology on our feet. We got to bed on Saturday around 1:00 A.M. We did stay up late every night.

Sunday down stairs by 9:00 A.M. for breakfast and tried to finish projects. We took lots of pictures and exchanged e-mail addresses. We left Newport News around 3:00 P.M. Time to find someplace to eat. We ended up at "Hooters" This is Amanda Sue's favorite place. It was fun. By the time we dropped everyone off and unloaded it was almost dark. I went to bed at 9:30 and got up at 8:00 A.M. Wendy is coming over this morning to finish up some projects. I leave tomorrow very early so I am sure I will be in bed early tonight.

We had a great weekend and I can't wait for it again next year. Pictures to follow later this week.

We are home!!

We got back to Mom's a few hours ago. We are so tired I can hardly see straight. The weekend was great. I will post more tomorrow when I can think better.

Wednesday was a day for shopping and getting ready to go to SDV. We went a few different places shopping and just messing around. Lunch at Firehouse Sub and then we went over to Carol's to see the kids. Marissa gets home from school at 3:00. After that we just went home and got our things ready for SDV.We had a great repeat dinner of steak and potatoes left over from the night before.

Off to SDV today at 11:00. We are picking up the married women (Amanda) at 11:15 and everyone is meeting at Wendy's for lunch. We will leave there and go on a field trip to A.C. Moore for a few supplies. Once we get to Newport news we will help Lisa and Sandy unpack and get their booth set up. We have dinner reservations at "The Melting Pot" for 5:00 P.M.

I am not sure if I will be able to post this weekend. Wendy said she is bringing her computer but there isn't much time. I will try. But what happens at SDV stays at SDV.

Appreciation Dinner!!

The dinner last night was great. Jackie sure knows how to cook. We had about 20 people and all the kids came so I got some good pictures. Of course I can't post here at Mom's so I will catch up when I get home.

We are off today to do some shopping and get ready for tomorrow.

Monday Recap!!

I forgot to tell everyone Samantha's team got first place in the National competition. They will be getting jackets for their prize. She did very good. I was very proud of her and glad I was here to see her perform.

I have been fighting getting sick. Saturday after the competition I went to the drug store and got some medicine. I started the Zicam and I got Dayquil for the day and Niquil for the night time. I have been taking a nap every day and trying to get some rest.

Yesterday we went out and got all the food for the Appreciation dinner on Tuesday night. We also got snacks for SDV and Mom's gift together for SDV. The rest of the day was spent making desserts and getting things ready for Tuesday. We really don't have much to do for Tuesday night at all. Only get to the Bronco club and begin cooking and setting up.

Blogging Facts!!

I started blogging 12/9/07. Check to see when you first started. Some of you already have. I think it is very interesting to think of how long you have been blogging. I can't imagine not being able to blog at all. It is very hard for me to blog at my Mom's but I am trying. I can't post pictures so you will have to wait until I get home for that.

Also remember to check each others followers on their side bars. Everyone who was at the Blogger Blast should have at least 20 followers. Also be sure to check the names of Blogger Blast attendees for every one's blog address. I will be removing those soon as I have added them to my people that I am watching further down on my page.

The wedding!!

Amanda's wedding was beautiful!! Everything went well. Even though it was raining. She looked beautiful and was very calm. Her church was very tradition and they did lots of things that were very cool. She was a very happy girl and that's all that counts. I will have to post pictures once I get home. Check out Wendy's site for pictures.

Saturday activities!!

Yesterday we went to Samantha's (Wendy's daughter)cheer competition in Williamsburg. We left at 7:30 A.M. and got home about 6:00 P.M. It was so nice to spend the day with Wendy and Samantha. We went to dinner after the competition and then went to Wendy's so I could see Mark and Mitch. Wendy's son & husband.

Today we are off to Amanda's wedding. I will keep you all posted.

Blogger Blast

A fun time was had by all at the Blogger Blast. Or at least a fun time was had by me. I had a Blast!! It was so fun to meet everyone and get a personality that goes with the faces. Half way through the dinner I got a message from Alexi she said she hoped I was having fun and reminded me all my friends no longer live in my computer they were right there with me at dinner. We shared lots of stories. We got lots of questions answered about each other. It went way to quickly. We went around the table and said how long we had been blogging, why we started blogging, who got them into blogging,and lots more. We took lots of pictures.

I am looking forward to doing this again next year.

I am here finally. It was a nice flight. I fly the same flight numbers and the same gates almost every time. Jackie & Mom & Josh came to get me from the airport. It was so nice to see Jackie in person. I have been so very worried about him.

We went off to Carols to get Mom's car and off to the house. I got to bed about 10:00 last night and slept OK.

We have a few things to do for the Blogger Blast today. And hopefully enough time to get in a nap. I need to get on the right time zone as soon as possible.

Virginia Trip!!!

Everyone keeps asking when I get in and when I leave so I decided to give you all a sneak peak.

I can't believe it is all most time to go on my trip!! It is going to be a world wind of a time. Here is a peak at what I am in for:

Blogger Blast Alert!!!!

We have changed our location for the Blogger Blast on Friday March 13th. I am getting scared about Applebees. They don't take reservations and the size of our group has been growing. Here is the new information:

A friend of mine has Cancer. She blogs daily on a Cancer blog site. She posted last night and it broke my heart. I had to share this story. Here is what she wrote:

Tuesday~I need to share with you a story that broke my heart. There is a little boy whose mother has a terminal disease. He never prays aloud to her but he does pray everynight before he goes to sleep. He is strong when his mother sobs. He has words of encouragement when his mother is at her lowest. This past week while his mother was driving him home from school, she looked over and saw that he was missing half of his eyelashes from his left upper eye lid. His mother gasped and said, "What Happened?" The little boy didn't answer. He just looked at his mom and a tear came from his eye. He finally answered "I was making wishes for you". This little guy was pulling on his lashes and making wishes for his mother so she could be healed.
This little boy is.............Mine.

This story is about her own son. If that doesn't break your heart. He is only 10 years old.

Button Project update!!

This is very easy to make. No real right or wrong. Here are some tips to make it easy for you and to answer some questions that I got:

* Yes you use a syrofoam cone.
* Place a strip of ribbon on the bottom first. Start at the bottom and go up.
* It takes a lot of pins. More than you think.
* It takes some time. You need to be patient and make them all fit.
* The base is a candlestick.

It is very fun to do and looks better in person.
