Jackie!!

Jackie is going home today!! Woo Hoo!!! I am so excited for him and of course for my Mom. He told me last week all he wanted was to be in his own bed when Santa Claus came. I guess he must have been a good boy because he is getting his wish. I hope all goes well with the home comming.

Christmas Ornaments!!

I saw these Ornaments on a blog spot and decided to try them. They are fun to make and very easy. All you have to have is a 5x7 photo and two brads. They turned out too cute.

Sunday!!

I did a little shopping yesterday and finished some projects. It was getting a little rainy outside. Today is suppose to be more of the same.

We are off to Church at 7:00 a.m. and then maybe breakfast after that. I need to make my Biscotti and finish some more projects. I have an apron to finish for Sherry for Christmas and a few earrings to make.

Pete got a few movies yesterday knowing that it will be raining today. I am sure we will get to those today as well.

1 Year Anniversary!!!

I have been so worried about Jackie and getting Christmas things done I forgot to check my Anniversary date. Mandy had a friend become a new blogger and it reminded me that I started in December of last year.

It was 12/6/07 @ 1:48 P.M. to be exact. I had only one comment on that day and it was from Wendy. Here is what the first post said:

I have a lot of work to do on this site so be patient.

I can't wait to get started.

How sad is that.  I have had a great year and I can't imagine what I would do if I couldn't blog.  It has become such a part of my life.  I love all the new people I have met and hearing about their lives.  

Thanks for being in my Blog world.!!!  I am looking forward to many more years of blogging.

Now I can't wait to get my book ready for the Blurb book.  I want to keep all these posts for many years to come.

Happy Friday!!

I ran about 8 errands yesterday. All with in 3 hours. I love when I can get a lot of things done. They were just little things but the needed to get done. I finished my Christmas cards and got them sent off. I stopped at the water district and dropped off our water allocation for this next year. I went to Target and Michaels and got a few things. Returned a movie and went to the dry cleaners. The last stop was the grocery store. I came home and wrapped presents for 3 hours. I did some baking and made dinner. I am exhausting my self. It was a good day.

Today I am hoping to get a Pedicure. I also need to take the newspapers to the recycle center. I will be working in my room later. Maybe you will see some posts tomorrow of what I have gotten done.

Jackie!!

Jackie is doing better. They said he can go home early next week. His main problem right now is he is still very weak. That have started him on solid foods and are getting him up to walk. he says they are trying to kill him. The great thing is he is off all pain meds. It is just going to take some time for him to heal and for him to get his strength back up. My mom is the one that really needs help. She is exhausted all the time. Mainly from driving back and forth to the hospital and the worry. I will keep you posted. He said all he wants for Christmas is to be in his own bed when Santa comes. I hope he gets his wish.

Motorcycle ride!!

We went on a motorcycle ride with the Libbrecht's and Janice & Dan last Saturday. I almost always take the camera but I forget to take pictures. I will try to be better at that.

We rode the BMW because the Harley is still in the shop from the deer damage and will be there for several more weeks. We met at our house and went out De Luz road to the Ortega Highway and up to Hell's Kitchen. Then over to the San Clemente pier for lunch. We had to race home to beat the sunset. It was getting very dark by the time we got home.

It was a great day and a great ride with great people.

Me, Terri, Steve, Dan, Janice, Pete. It is not a fashion statement when you ride. The hair is always a mess. I have to wear hat or I look worst than this picture.

Sunrise!!!

This was a picture of a sunrise I took last week. They are so beautiful this time of the year. The picture doesn't even do it justice.




Yes I am an early morning person. Once I wake up I can't just lay in bed no matter what time it is. I get up at 5:15 A.M. three days a week for work. So it is hard to sleep in the rest of the time.
