Wednesday news!

I don't know where the time goes. It is Wednesday already. I am off today and the rest of the week. Mom and I will be going to the casino tonight with Uncle Gary. He invited us to dinner at Pachanga Casino in Temecula. We are really looking forward to going. I think we might go to Temecula early and do some shopping.

The Engagement party is coming along good. There is so much work when having a party. My final guest count was 70 people. I am looking forward to seeing everyone on Saturday. The kids and their friends are all staying here at Zach's house. It should be a good time.

She's here!!

Mom got here on Thursday around 12:00. Zach & Alexi came over for a great fish dinner. Zach is gone this weekend so it was nice for him to spend time with Grandma. Mom & I went shopping around 12:00 for a friend of mine who is adopting a little 4 year old boy. That was so much fun. I can't wait for them to get the things I bought. I could have bought the whole store.

Alexi met us at 3:00 for a appointment to try on Wedding dresses. This was very cool that my Mom was here for this. Alexi is not tradition at all. She is going for more of the Ivory color and nothing very tradition or big. She found a designer that she liked and I think she has found the dress. She wants to try it on with her Maid Of Honor. Her and Christie will go in the next few weeks and try a few on again. She is going to have a hard time finding something.

We went to Macroni Grill for dinner. Yum!!

Off to bed early. We are going to the Libbrechts tomorrow to borrow a few things for the Engagement party. We are getting a pedicare as well.

Mom is coming!!

Woo Hoo!! My Mom will be here tomorrow. I can't wait. She is going to be here for Alexi's engagement party on October the 3rd. We have lots of things planned for her. I will keep you all posted as it all unfolds.

Alexi & Phil's party is coming along well. I invited 87 people. So far we have 46 R.S.V.P.'s. All of the Gilmore family has R.S.V.P. all ready. I asked for a R.S.V.P. by the 27th so hopefully I will get the rest pretty quickly. The kids keep adding more people as it gets closer. It should be a fun time.

Birthday Book !

This is the finished product of my Birthday Book. I know I started it in April but things got a little crazy. I finally finished it. I am pleased with the way it turned out. I love all the Birthday wishes.

Alexi!

I am so proud of my daughter. She has three jobs and is taking two classes right now. She even had her picture in the paper. She is teaching Preschool.

I guess her class will be in the paper again soon.

Invitation!!

I wanted to have an engagement party for the kids. With all the sad times we have had lately I wanted a happy thing to celebrate. And we are all so excited for Alexi & Phil. What a great time for them. We get to plan and live this excitement for a year. Their wedding is set for July 24, 2010.

The party invites will include the entire Gilmore family, Libbrecht family and the wedding party. I sent out 45 invitations. 85 people were invited. It should be a great day. And the best part my mom gets to be here from Virginia.

I don't have the rest of the details figured out yet but I will keep you posted.

Present

Alexi got me this bracelet and earrings from Hawaii. The picture doesn't do it justice. They are really beautiful. I love them and got lots of compliments when I wore them. Thanks Alexi!!!

Blood work!!

I went a few weeks ago for my annual checkup. I had forgot to fast so I could get my blood work done. Then everything happened with my dad and off I went to New Hampshire. I finally had a chance to get it done and look at what they did to my arm. I do have sensitive skin, but the technician took the blood way up on my arm. I have never had it done like that before. I was sore and it looked terrible for two weeks. It still is visible today. I don't know why he did it like that. Some people just don't have a clue.

I am back!!

We had a great weekend in Mexico. Came home on Sunday and got lots of cleaning and fun stuff done. I have finished Alexi's Engagement invitations and they went out this morning. I will take a picture and post them this week. They really did turn out cute. I have to finish my birthday book and then I think I am going to sew for awhile. At work today and tomorrow and off again for the rest of the week. Mom comes on the 24th and the party is October 3rd. Lots to do.

Mexico!!

We are off to Mexico for the weekend. I am very excited to have a relaxing and nothing kind of weekend. I am getting ready for the big engagement party for Alexi & Phil. Invitations will go out next week and I am looking forward to having a happy gathering. I hope you all have a nice time this weekend. I will be back on the ball next week with my blogging.
