Reconstruction project!

We have been in our house for over three years. When we moved in we had our old T.V. in the spot in the living room and every thing worked fine. The place that the T.V. is in now is out dated the hole was designed for an older style T.V. All the T.V.'s now are wider and won't fit. So we must reconstruct this area. We have had several people come out and take a look at this project. In the mean time we got a new cable box and have had problems with this T.V. and can not use it.

Friday the original cabinet person came out and measured the spot and hopefully within a month I will have a new cabinet. Keep tuned to see the end result.

It is going to match the other side with shelves on the top and no side pieces. I can't wait to get this fixed.

I found this bloggers prayer on a site yesterday and I wanted to share:

Lord help me to learn to spell without spellcheck,
manage to visit all that visit me, and post regularly -
all in 5 minutes a day, so that I can clean house
and take care of my family and work.
Help me to not look at every occurrence in my life as a blog post, and to quit taking pictures of weird things to share as well. Please Lord, help me to stop talking about my blog friends as though they are next door neighbors or someone I have known all of my life.
And help me dear Lord, to think of something witty and wise to post tomorrow.

Happy Birthday Alexi!!!

Today is my Baby Girl Alexi's Birthday!! She is going to be 24 years old. I don't know where all the time has gone. She has been a delight every day of her life. I just hope when she has children that she will be so blessed.
This picture was taken when Alexi was only one week old.  I had to take these out of her baby book so the quality isn't so great.

Blah Saturday!!

Not much going on her today. Pete is still sick and it seems like he is getting worse. I just hope I don't get it. I did manage to go out and run some errands today. The Post Office, Dry Cleaners, Pet Store, Sav-on , and the Grocery store.

Pete has not gotten out of bed all day. He tried but ends up right back in there. I haven't done much else other than the errands. I am sure it will be an early night.

Snowed in at the cabin!!

It was so beautiful at the cabin. The boys were suppose to go skiing on Saturday and Jeanine and I had all kinds of projects planned. Bob wasn't feeling well and it snowed most of the night and didn't look good in the morning on Saturday. I felt bad for Pete because there wasn't much to do. It was beautiful though.
Bob & Pete tried to go for a walk.  They didn't get very far!

Weekend recap!!

We got to Sacramento on Thursday early evening. We had dinner reservations at a wonderful restaurant called "Ella"located in down town Sacramento. It was a great meal with our great friends. I didn't take any picture there I am not sure why. We left for Pollock Pines the next day to spend the rest of the time at our friends Bob & Jeanine's cabin.

My husband turns 51 today. The time sure goes by quickly. We have known each other since I was 18 years old.

I am back!!
