The Old Dude was here!

Being the blogger that I am I couldn't resist taking this photo of Gary blogging on my computer.


Gary came over for lunch on Sunday. Alexi & Layla came as well. And Zach too. It was a nice day. We had taco's. And then watched a movie. It was nice to spend time with Gary. I think he liked the break as well. His place still doesn't have any furniture until next week. And his computer has been unplugged and moved to the new place also. I think he was having Blogging withdraws so I set him up on my computer so he could get a quick shout out to the blog world.

Friday!!

It has been raining most of the morning here. It is 56 degrees outside and looking a little gloomy. I am hoping for more rain today or tonight. We sure could use it. Not much going on. I am working in my craft room today finishing up some projects.

Uncle Gary!!

Gary stayed with us for a few nights while his house was getting tented for termites. He went to Temecula during the day and worked on his apartment. He is so easy to be around and I really enjoyed our time together.

I am so proud of Gary for making these changes in his life. It is not easy at his age to be moving to a whole new area and starting over. This has been his choice to make this move to be closer to the family and we are thrilled. He is only 25 minutes from us now. He will be all moved in by the 13th of February.

I keep thinking how happy Frank (My father in law, Gary's brother) would be knowing Gary will be close to us. And how proud he would be of Gary for making this move.

We are sending our work truck up to get a truck load from him today and then the movers will move the big things next week. I am hoping to see his place this weekend. I will post some pictures as soon as I get them.

Alexi

I am so proud of my daughter!! Alexi has been accepted to Cal State San Marcos!!! She will go there in the Fall. She will be the first one in both of our families to graduate from college. Ever kid has to do the school thing in their own way. Alexi is definitely her own person and is finding her own way. I think now she can see the light at the end of the tunnel.

We are so proud of you honey!! It won't be long now!

Cats!!

We just got this basket from Tish. I wasn't sure if the cats would like it. Avi seems to have taken to it and won't let Sergie in.

Sergie has chosen to sit in the chair.  You can hardly see him he is so black.
There's my girl in her basket.

She loves to sit it there.  I don't know why!!
